RESOLUTION NO. 424
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING AN OFFICIAL CITY FLAG AND PROVIDING
FOR THE DISPLAY THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, has determined that it is fitting that an official
flag be adopted as a symbol of the City and the civic pride
possessed by City officials and citizens of the Edmonds
community, and
WHEREAS, through the generosity of Shorelines
Savings Association, a flag has been �:] presented
to the City, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The flag presented to the City by
Shorelines Savings Association on February 6, 1979, is
hereby adopted as the official flag of the City of Edmonds,
Washington.
Section 2. The City flag shall be displayed at
the Edmonds Civic Center, and may be displayed at any other
public or private place within the City.
