the Edmonds City Flag.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy o6 this Resotution be

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
COMMENDING SHORELINES SAVINGS ASSOCIATION FOR ITS
SERVICES TO THE CITY AND THE CITIZENS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a
community award public recognition for outstanding public
service rendered by its citizens, and
WHEREAS, Shorelines Savings Association has demon-
strated great civic spirit and pride in the Edmonds community

by and present-
ing several flags to the City and its officers and
employees, and
WHEREAS, a grateful City Council of the City of
Edmonds, and the officers and employees of said City deem it
fitting that a commendation should be issued for the time
and effort so spent by Shorelines Savings Association, and
that said commendation should be made a part of the permanent
records of the City of Edmonds, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
That Shorelines Savings Association be and is
hereby commended for civic spirit and pride in the Edmonds
community which it has demonstrated through the creation and
presentation of the Edmonds city flag.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be furnished Shorelines Savings Association and an additional
copy be entered in the permanent records of this city in
order that the citizens be forever aware of the high esteem
and respect in which Shorelines Savings Association is and
will be held forever more.
