RESOLUTION NO. 433
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
TRANSFERING FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY FUND NO. 119
TO GENERAL FUND NO. 001, DEPARTMENT NO. 400 FOR
THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING A SENIOR ACCOUNTING CLERK
POSITION.
WHEREAS, after the adoption of the 1979 Budget, the
Federal government reduced the level of funds available under
the Comprehensive Employment Training Act thus requiring the
City to provide funds for a Senior Accounting Clerk's position,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
in the best interest of the public health, safety and general
welfare that the foregoing expenditure be made and that said
fund should come from the Council Contingency Fund, and
WHEREAS, the expenditure could not be reasonably anti-
cipated at the time of adoption of the 1979 Budget, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $9,800.00 is hereby transferred
from Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to General Fund No. 001,
Department No. 400 for the purpose of funding a Senior Accounting
Clerk position.

Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized
to take all necessary steps in order to effectuate the.transfer
pursuant to Section 1 of this Resolution.
