RESOLUTION NO. 438
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION,
OR HIS DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE BUILDING AND /OR LAND
USE AGREEMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY FOR USE OF
MUNICIPAL FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is
a need to delegate authority to execute Building and /or Land Use
Agreements for use of City facilities in order to help facilitate
the administration and recreation and other programs within the
City, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Parks and Recreation Director, or his
designee, is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City
of Edmonds, Washington, Building and /or Land Use Agreements for
the use of municipal facilities including parks, playfields and
other municipal facilities owned or leased by the City in con-
nection with said departments' authorized programs, provided that
all such agreements shall have been approved as to form by the
Office of the City Attorney and that no such agreements shall,
exceed a term of six (6) months in duration and all fees charged
shall be at rates approved by the administration plus all taxes
and /or surcharges required to be imposed by law.

Section 2. This authorization shall continue in full
force and effect until revoked or otherwise amended by the City
Council.
