RESOLUTION NO. 444
WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owners of more
than two- thirds of the property abutting upon property dedi-
cated for street purposes, located in the City of Edmonds,
Washington, being a portion of North Meadowdale Road north
of 164th Street Southwest and east of 72nd Street Southwest,
and more particularly described on Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and incorporated in full by this reference, was filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the vacation
of the above described property and who has returned a
certification of sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, the State law requires a hearing on such
petition and that the date of such hearing must be fixed by
Resolution of the City Council, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES that Tuesday, the 17 day of July ,
1979 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Edmonds Civic Center,
Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place
for the hearing and determination by the City Council of
said petition.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of Section 5, Township 27 North, Range 4 East,
W.M., Plat of Meadowdale Beach, according to Plat thereof,
recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, page 38, Records of Snohomish
County, Washington, more specifically described as beginning
at the most easterly corner of Tract 51 of said Plat, thence
northerly along the westerly boundary of the 40 foot North
Meadowdale Road as originally platted to an intersection with
the easterly boundary of the proposed 60 foot road shown as
Snohomish County Engineers Survey No. 2357, thence northerly
along the easterly boundary of said proposed road to an intersection
of the common boundary of Tracts 49 and 50 of said Plat, extended
to the most westerly corner of Tract 48 of said Plat, thence
southeasterly along the common boundary of Tract 48 and the
40 foot North Meadowdale Road as originally platted to the
most southerly corner of Tract 48 of said Plat, thence westerly
a distance of 20 feet measured perpendicular to the easterly
boundary of said road, which point is on the centerline of
said road, thence northerly along said centerline to a point
20 feet easterly of the most easterly corner of Tract 51, of
said plat when measured perpendicular to the westerly boundary
of said road, thence westerly to the point of beginning.
