RESOLUTION NO. 395
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY FUND NO. 119
TO GENERAL FUND 001, FINANCE DEPARTMENT, DEPARTMENT
04, AND PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION, DEPARTMENT
NO. 12, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING MEMBERSHIP DUES
IN THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
COUNCIL AND FUNDING THE ARCHITECTURAL STUDIES OF
THE EDMONDS ELMENTARY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, since the time of the passage of the 1978
Budget, the City Council has determined it to be in the best
interest of the City to continue its membership in the
Snohomish County Economic Development Council, and
WHEREAS, membership dues in the organization are
Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) for the year 1978, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been consummated with
the firm of L.A. Bailey Associates, to conduct a space needs
study, an architectural study of the Edmonds Elementary
School to enable the council to determine the feasibility of
acquiring such a facility, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the
best interest of the health, safety and general welfare of
the City and its citizens to expend said monies from the
Council Contingency Fund, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of Three Hundred Dollars
($300.00) is hereby transferred from Contingency Fund No.
119 to General Fund No. 001, Department No. 04, Finance

Department to pay the cost of 1978 membership dues in the
Snohomish County Economic Development Council.
Section 2. There is hereby transferred the sum of
Five Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty -Five Dollars ($5,825.00)
from the Council Contingency Fund No. 119 to General Fund
No. 001, Department 12, Parks and Recreation Division, for
the purpose of payment of the cost of a space needs and
architectural study of the Edmonds Elementary School.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby author-
ized to take all steps necessary I in order to effectuate the
transfers pursuant to the provisions of this resolution.
