A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
GRANTING AN EXCEPTION TO THE MORATORIUM ON BUILDING
PERMITS IN THE COMMERICAL WATERFRONT ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds, Washington, adopted
Resolution No. 394 on February 28, 1978, declaring a moratorium
on the issuance of Building Permits in the Commercial'Waterfront
zoning classifiaction south of Main Street within the city limits
of the city for a period of at least six months from the effective
date of said resolution, and,
WHEREAS, Greg Selvidge has applied for and received
approval from the Amenities Design Board for construction of
a six foot high cyclone fence to be placed around property
located at 316 Admiral Way in the Commercial Waterfront Zone,
and,
WHEREAS, construction of said fence will not impact
existing, contemplated uses of the property or surrounding
uses, and,
WHEREAS, construction of said fence would in no way
affect the ability of the city to implement long range planning
and /or zoning in the Commercial Waterfront Zone, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the construction of a six foot high cyclone fence
around the property located at 316 Admiral Way and approved by

the Amenities Design Board on May 3, 1978, under File No.
ADB- 46 -78, be and the same is hereby excepted from the
moratorium contained in Resolution No. 394.
