A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
GRANTING AN EXCEPTION TO THE MORATORIUM ON BUILDING
PERMITS IN THE COMMERCIAL WATERFRONT ZONE
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds, Washington, adopted
Resolution No. 394 on February 28, 1978, declaring a mora-
torium on the issuance of Building Permits in the Commercial
Waterfront zoning classification south of Main Street within
the city limits of the City for a period of at least six
months from the effective date of said resolution, and
WHEREAS, a portion of the Port of Edmonds Marina
expansion project lies within the Commercial Waterfront zone
subject to the moratorium and has obtained all other required
permits and approvals, and
WHEREAS, deleting this portion of the project
would not be inconsistent with the intent of the moratorium
and would not effect the ability of the City to implement
long range planning and /or zoning in the Commercial Waterfront
zone, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY-RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the portion of the Port of Edmonds
Marina expansion project involving one of the proposed
floats and its access ramp, as set forth on the drawing
attached hereto, labelled Exhibit A, and incorporated herein
by this reference as if set forth in full, is hereby excepted
from the moratorium contained in Resolution No. 394.
