RESOLUTION NO. 380
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, COMMENDING
THOSE APPLICANTS APPEARING BEFORE THE AMENITIES DESIGN
BOARD WHO HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXEMPLARY URBAN DESIGN
DEVELOPMENT BY CONTRUBUTING POSITIVELY TO THE QUALITY OF
EDMONDS MAN -MADE ENVIRONMENT.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a
community recognize the contribution that exemplary develop-
ments make to the community; and
WHEREAS, the contribution that a developgr makes to
the community with good development benefits the users and
all others who view the improvement; and
WHEREAS, the legacy of a community depends on the
quality of development for a period of time and quality
development should be encouraged for the benefit of the
whole community; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting a commendation be extended to
applicants appearing before the Amenities Design Board who
have contributed significantly to quality urban design in the
City of Edmonds, now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, THAT Bennet Box for an Attorney's
Office, Muryl Medina for a Duplex, Pizza Hut Incorporated
for a Restaurant, Jack North for Edmonds Garden Center Sign,
Gary Card for Totem House Fish and Chips Restaurant and
Greg Ouelette for Edmonds Auto Parts Sign be commended for
their contribution to the improvement of the quality of the

environment of the City of Edmonds and the quality of life
for the citizens thereof, and for the future and better-
ment of said City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be furnished to each applicant so honored and that an addi-
tional copy be entered into the permanent records of the
City in order that the citizens be forever aware of the
contribution that has been made to the City of Edmonds and
its citizens.
Resolved by the City Council this 27th day of
September, 1977.
