RESOLUTION NO. 384
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM CONTINGENCY FUND NO. 119
TO GENERAL FUND 001 DEPARTMENT 12 AND TO STREET
DEPARTMENT FUND NO. 111 DEPARTMENT 009 FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PAYING THE COSTS OF APPRAISAL OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, THE COSTS OF A SPACE NEED
AND ARCHITECTURAL STUDY OF THE EDMONDS ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL AND FOR FALL CITY WIDE CLEAN UP PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, since the time of the passage of the 1977
Budget the City Council has determined it to be in the
best interests of the City to attempt to acquire the
Edmonds Elementary School premises, and
WHEREAS, as a result of such determination it is
necessary to secure an appraisal of the property, review
the space needs of the City and have an architectural
study of the Edmonds Elementary School conducted, and
WHEREAS, as a result of substantial citizen demand
for an additional city wide clean up program the City
Council has determined that such a program should be
conducted for a second time during the year 1977 rather
than one time a year as had previously been approved,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of Six Thousand Three Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($6,350.00) is hereby transferred from

Contingency Fund No. 119 to the General Fund No. 001,
Department 12, to pay for the costs of an appraisal of
the Edmonds Elementary School property in the amount of
Five Hundred Twenty -five Dollars ($525.00) and to pay
for the costs of a space needs and architectural study
of the Edmonds Elementary School at a costs of Five
Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty -five Dollars ($5,825.00).
Section 2. The sum of Two Thousand Six Hundred
Dollars ($2,600.00) is hereby transferred from Contin-
gency Fund No. 119 to Street Department Fund No. 111
Department 009 for the purpose of conducting a fall
city wide clean up program.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized
and directed to take all necessary steps in order to effect-
uate the transfer pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 of this
Resolution.
