A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND SIX
HUNDRED TWENTY AND N01100 DOLLARS FROM CONTINGENCY FUND
NO. 119 TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 001 DEPARTMENT. 34 FOR
BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds has been-designated as a
Bicentennial City by the American Revolution Bicentennial
Administration, and
WHEREAS, such designation took place in the latter part of
December, 1974, after finalization of the City Budget for the
year 1975, and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the public that some
planning be accomplished during the year 1975 with respect to the
city celebration of the bicentennial birth of. this nation, now,
therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby transferred the sum of $2,620.00
from the Contingency Fund No. 119 to the General Fund No. 001
Department 34 for the purpose of. 1776. -1976 bicentennial.celebra-
tion for relocation and preservation of the historical log cabin.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby instructed to make
the necessary transfer pursuant to Section 1 of this Resolution.
