Resolution 356RESOLUTION NO. 356 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF THREE HUNDRED AND N01100 DOLLARS FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND NO.. 119 TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 0.01 DEPARTMENT 18 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT WITHIN SAID CITY. WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City since the passage of the budget for the calendar year 1976, that it would be in the best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare for the City to obtain a membership in the South County Economic Development Council for the purpose of furthering the economic development of the City, and WHEREAS, said membership was not anticipated in the 1976 budget and no appropriation made therefor, now, therefore, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CI ^1Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There shall be transferred from Contingency Fund No. 119 to the General Fund No. 0.01 Department 18 the sum of $300.00 for the purpose of payment of a membership fee on behalf of the City in the South County Economic Development Council for the purpose of promoting economic development within said City and keeping the appointed and elected officials of said City and its citizens apprised of economic developments within the South Snohomish County area. Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby instructed to make the necessary transfer pursuant to Section l of this Resolution. APPROVED: MAYOR, Ti. H.
