A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF
THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED'SIXTY -FIVE DOLLARS
FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND NO...119 TO THE GENERAL
FUND NO. 001 DEPARTMENT 001 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PAYING FOR AVAILABLE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS FOR MEMBERS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City since
the passage of the budget for the calendar year 1976, that
certain members of the City Council qualify for employee
benefits in the nature of health, accident and dental insurance,
and
WHEREAS, such an expense was not anticipated in the 1976
budget, now therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There shall be transferred from Contingency
Fund No. 119 to General Fund No. 001 Department 001 the sum
of $3,365.00 for the purpose of payment of premiums on the
employee health, accident and dental insurance programs
available to those members of the City Council who do not
otherwise have comparable medical and dental coverage available
to them from other sources.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby instructed to
make the necessary transfer pursuant to Section l of this
Resolution.
