Resolution 364RESOLUTION NO. 364
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
proposes to vacate certain property dedicated for street purposes,
located in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of
Washington, being a portion of an alley between Tenth Avenue
and Olympic Avenue and between Daley Street and Glen Street,
more particularly described as follows:
"That portion of Section 24, Township 27 North, Range 3
East, W.M., more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 2, Block 2,
Riley Park; thence Easterly to the Southeast corner
of Lot 5, Block 2, Riley Park; thence Southerly along
the Easterly line of said Lot 5 projected southerly
to the South line of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said
section; thence Easterly along said line to its inter-
section with the Northerly projection of the Easterly
line of Lot 31, Block 44, City of Edmonds; thence
Southerly along said Northerly projection to the
Northeast corner of said Lot 31; thence Westerly along
the North line of said Block 44 to the Northwest corner
of Lot 40, Block 44, City of Edmonds; thence Northerly
along the Northerly projection of the Westerly line of
said Lot 40 to the south line of the SW 1/4 of the
NE 1/4 of said section; thence Easterly along said
line to the Southerly projection of the Westerly line
of Lot 2, Block 2, Riley Park; thence Northerly along
said line to the Point of Beginning."
WHEREAS, the law requires a public hearing on such proposal
and that the date of such hearing be fixed by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Tuesday, the
24th day of August, 1976, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Edmonds
Civic Center, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and
place for the hearing and determination by the City Council of said
proposal to vacate.
