A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE SUM
OF NINE HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS FROM THE CONTIN-
GENCY FUND NO. 119 TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 001,
DEPARTMENT NO. 12 FOR FUNDING OF THE PARK BOND
FACT SHEET.
WHEREAS, it was determined during the course of fiscal
year 1976 that a measure should be placed upon the general
ballot for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not the tax-
payers of the City of Edmonds desire to impose additional
taxes upon themselves for the purpose of acquisition, construc-
tion and improvement of certain park properties within the
City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deemed it necessary for the
public interest that a fact sheet be.distributed to the
citizens in advance of said election to explain the purposes
that said monies were to be expended for and the additional
tax burden as a result of the issuance of said bonds, and
WHEREAS, said item could not have been reasonably
anticipated during the formulation of the 1976 budget, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby authorized a transfer from
the Contingency Fund No. 119 in the amount of $905.00 to
the General Fund No. 001, Department No. 12 for the purpose
of funding the park bond fact sheet.

Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to
make the necessary transfer pursuant to Section 1 of this
Resolution.
