WHEREAS, a Petition signed by the owners of more than
two - thirds of the property abutting upon property dedicated
for street purposes, located in the City of Edmonds, Washington,
being a portion of Elm Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues,
more particulary described as follows, all situate in Snohomish
County, Washington:
The North 40 feet of the North one -half of the North
one -half of the Northwest one - quarter of the Northwest
one - quarter of the Southwest one - quarter of Section 25,
Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W.M., lying westerly
of the southerly projection of the east line of Lot 1,
Plat of Highland Park, as recorded in records of
Snohomish County, Washington, LESS State Route #104
right -of -way.
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for
the vacation of the above described property, who has
returned a certification of sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, the law requires a hearing of such Petition
and that the date of such hearing be fixed by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City
Council of the City of Edmonds, that Tuesday, the 19th day
of August, 1975, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Edmonds
Civic Center, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the
time and place for the hearing and determination by the
City Council of said Petition.
