A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF ONE
HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND
NO. 119 TO THE MUNICIPAL ARTS FUND NO. 117 FOR
THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE
EXPENSES OF THE EDMONDS CIVIC ARTS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds by Ordiance No. 1765
passed on March 18, 1975, created the Edmonds Civic Arts
Commission, and
WHEREAS, said Commission was created after finaliza-
tion of the 1975 budget and the creation of said Commission
was not contemplated nor foreseen at the time of final passage
of the budget, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide funds for the
administrative expenses of the Edmonds Civic Arts Commission
and it is in the public interest and general welfare to do
so, now, therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby transferred from the
Contingency Fund, No. 119, to the Municipal Arts Fund No.
117, the sum of $150.00 to be used for administrative and
general expenses for the Edmonds Civic Arts Commission.
Section 2.
The Acting Finance Director is hereby
instructed to make the necessary transfer pursuant to section
one of this resolution.
