A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
APPOINTING A MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND A
FIRST ALTERNATE, TO REPRESENT THE CITY OF EDMONDS
AT THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE TO EVALUATE
THE NEED FOR AND DESIRABILITY OF THE CREATION OF
A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT.AREA WITHIN THE
COUNTY OF SNOHOMISH
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 270, laws of 1975, lst
Executive Session, the Board of County Commissioners for
Snohomish County has scheduled a conference to evaluate the
need for and .desirability of the creation of a public
transportation benefit area within certain.incorporated and
unincorporated portions of Snohomish County and to provide
public transportation services within such area, and for
said purposes has requested that the City Council of the
City of Edmonds by resolution to appoint a representative of
the City of Edmonds, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Edmonds that the Honorable Philip A. Clement be and the
same is hereby appointed the representative from the City of
Edmonds to attend the above referenced conference, and,
should he for any reason be unable to attend such conference
or continuations thereof the Honorable John Nordquist be and
the same is hereby appointed first alternate.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edmonds the
5th day of August, 1975.
