A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DENOMINATING THE SOUTH
SNOHOMISH COUNTY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER LOCATED
AT 220 RAILROAD AVENUE, EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AS
THE PERMANENT SITE FOR SAID SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds in cooperation with state
and local agencies sought and obtained matching monies for the
acquisition and improvement of a Senior Citizens Center for
South Snohomish County, and
WHEREAS, said facility was purchased and improvements made
to make such facility .available to senior citizens from the
surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, said facility has been in active operation
providing services for the areas' senior citizens, and
WHEREAS, said facility fulfills a vital role within this
community and should be established on a permanent basis to
provide the educational, recreational and related services
to the areas' senior citizens, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, That the South Snohomish County Senior Citizens
Center located at 220 Railroad Avenue, Edmonds, Washington,
is hereby declared to be a permanent.Senior Citizens Center
facility.
