A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
APPROVING THE DESIGN OF THE FISHING PIER AT EDMONDS BOAT HARBOR.
WHEREAS, the State of Washington Department of Fisheries has contracted
with Reid, Middleton & Associates, Inc. to prepare a study and design of a
fishing pier located on the north breakwater of the Port of Edmonds Facility,
and
WHEREAS, said study and design have been prepared and submitted to the
City Council of the City of Edmonds with a request that they concur in said
design, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington finds that
the design as submitted is acceptable and will serve the public health, safety
and general welfare, and greatly facilitate recreational activities available
to the citizens, not only of the City of Edmonds, but of the neighboring areas;
and will provide multiple recreational use of salt water facilities, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS; WASHINGTON,
That the design of the proposed fishing pier as depicted in that certain
document denoted as "Engineering Report on Proposed Fishing Pier at Edmonds
Harbor, Washington for State of--Washi,ngton Department of Fisheries, November,
1975" prepared by Reid,Middleton & Associates, Inc. , is hereby approved and
accepted by the City of Edmonds.
