WHEREAS, a Petition signed by the owners of more than
• two- thirds of the property abutting upon property dedicated

for street purposes, located in the City of Edmonds, Washington,
being a portion of 81st Avenue West, more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of 81st Avenue West right -of -way
lying within Oscar E. Jensenn Seattle Suburban
Tract being a portion of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4
of Section 18 Township 27 N Range 4 E, more
particularly described as follows: Beginning
at the NE corner of Lot 1, Block 5, thence
Southerly along the Westerly right -of -way of
81st Avenue W to the SE corner of Lot 5, Block
5; thence Easterly to the SW corner of Lot 10
Block 6; thence Northerly along the Easterly
right -of -way of 81st Avenue West to the NW
corner of Lot 14, Block 6; thence Westerly
to the NE corner of Lot 1 and the point of
beginning.,
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the
vacation of the above described property, who has returned a
certification of sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, the law requires a hearing on such petition and
that the date of such hearing be fixed by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, that Tuesday, the 7th day of May, 1974,
at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Edmonds, Washington, shall be
fixed as the time and place for the hearing and determination
by the City Council of said Petition.
