WHEREAS, a Petition signed by the owners of more than
two - thirds of the property abutting upon property dedicated
• for street purposes, located in the City of Edmonds,.Washing
ton, being a portion of 84th Avenue West, more particularly
described as follows:
That portion of the North 1/2 of the North 1/2 of Section
18, Township 27 North, Range 4 East, described as follows:
Beginning at the North 1/4 corner of Section 18, thence S
0 026117" W along the North /South centerline of said Section,
56.40 feet to the South right -of -way of Olympic View Drive;
thence S 65 017117" W along said right -of -way 33.14 feet to
its intersection with the westerly right -of -way of 84th
Avenue West and the True Point of Beginning; thence S 0 026'17"
W along said westerly right -of -way 365.52 feet; thence S
89 033143" E 30.00 feet to the North %South centerline of said
Section; thence N 0 026117" E along said centerline 19.09 feet;
thence S 89 033143 " -E 30.00 feet to the easterly right -of -way
of 84th Avenue West; thence N 0 026117" E along said easterly
right -of -way 374.60 feet to its intersection with the south
right -of -way of Olympic View Drive; thence S 65 °17117" W
along said south right -of -way 66.28 feet to the True Point
of Beginning, LESS that portion vacated by Snohomish County
as recorded in records of Snohomish County, Washington,
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the vacation
of the above described property, who has returned a certification of
sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, the law requires a hearing on such petition and that
the date of such hearing be fixed by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, that Tuesday, the 18th day of June, 1974, at
the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Edmonds Civic Center, Edmonds, Wash-
, ington, shall be fixed as the time and place for the hearing and
determination by the City Council of said Petition.
