A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
SETTING FORTH THE CITY'S INTENTION TO PROVIDE
MAINTENANCE FOR LANDSCAPING ISLANDS ON STATE ROUTE
104 BETWEEN 102D PLACE WEST AND 226TH STREET S.W.
IN SAID CITY.
• WHEREAS, the State of Washington has agreed to install certain
• landscaping islands on State Route 104 between 102d Place West and
226th Street S.W. within said city limits, including the construction,
installation and landscaping of said islands, and
WHEREAS, the landscaping in said islands will require maintenance
from time to time after its initial installation, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Edmonds agrees to provide maintenance of the landscaping,
as required, in those certain landscaping islands to be constructed, installed
and landscaped.by the State of Washington on State Route 104 between 102d
Place Wesyt and 226th Street S.W., provided, however, that such maintenance shall
not commence until the completion of:
A. A plant establishment period normal for the plants specified (not
prior to the 31st of October); and
B. A joint inspection and acceptance of the landscaping by the City
and State.
RESOLVED THIS 2 day of July, 1974, by the City Council of the City
of Edmonds, Washington.
