A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
APPOINTING REID, MIDDLETON & ASSOCIATES, INC. AS
PROJECT ENGINEERS AND AUTHORIZING SAID FIRM TO
ACQUIRE CERTAIN RIGHTS -OF -WAY AND SLOPE EASEMENTS,
• SUBJECT TO APPROVAL BY THE CITY ENGINEER, PURSUANT
TO THE URBAN ARTERIAL PROGRAM, 196TH STREET S.W.
WHEREAS, Chapter 83, Laws of 1967, Extraordinary Session, provided
for an Urban Arterial Program financed by gas taxes dedicated to the
cities and counties, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 158 and subsequent amendments, the
City of Edmonds designated certain priorities for urban arterials, and
WHEREAS, the 196th Street S.W. Project [No. 8 -1 -140 (06)] has
been approved with the City of Lynnwood as the designated construction
agent, and
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds is designated as a joint- interest
agency, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON:
The consulting engineering firm of Reid, Middleton & Associates, Inc.
is hereby designated as project ern
Engineer, and is hereby authorized
slope easements within the City of
196th Street S.W. from 77th Avenue
said acquisitions to be subject to
City of Edmonds.
