Resolution 314RESOLUTION NO. 314 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE NATIONAL BANK OF COMMERCE, AND ANY SUCCEEDING FISCAL AGENCY DESIGNATED BY THE STATE OF WASHINGTON AS FISCAL AGENT FOR SAID CITY. WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds, has in recent years issued a substantial number of general obligation, revenue and local improvement district bonds, and WHEREAS, due to the increasing complexity of such financing arrangements it is necessary to provide greater services by said city with respect to the redeeming of said bonds, payment of interest coupons, registration and replacement of said bonds, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That the National Bank of Commerce, and any succeeding fiscal agency so designated by the State of Washington, is hereby designated as the official fiscal agent for said city for the purpose of registering such bond issues and replacements thereof as said fiscal agent shall be directed by the city, and which services shall also include the redeeming of said bonds at or before maturity or upon call, and the payment of such interest coupons as shall be due; the replacement of any lost bond or series of bonds; the registration of such bond issues as required or requested by said city; the maintenance of all records in relation thereto and shall keep, maintain and /or destroy all records of account, coupons and redeemed bonds in accordance with state law, and such other duties as shall be assigned to said fiscal agent by said city from time to time.
