WHEREAS, a Petition signed by the owners of more than two - thirds of the
property abutting upon property dedicated for street purposes, being an unnamed street
located in the City of Edmonds, Washington, being a portion of right -of -way dedicated
to the City of Edmonds by Quit Claim Deed recorded under Auditor's File No. 1975572,
more particularly described as follows:
The west 25.00 feet of the following: Part of the northwest quarter
of the northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 27 North, Range 4 East,
W. M., described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of said
northwest quarter of the northeast quarter; thence south 89 °56'E, along
the north line of the section, 550.00 feet to the west margin of Andover
Street as shown on plat of the First Addition to the City of Edmonds,
according to plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, Page 31, records
of Snohomish County, Washington; thence south 0 °11'East along said west
margin of Andover Street, 345 feet to the true point of beginning of this
description; thence from said point of beginning, run north 0 °11' west 345
feet to the north line of the section; thence north 89056'west along the
section line 270.00 feet to the centerline of that certain easement described
in Declaration of Easement filed for record under Auditor's File No. 1614380;.
thence south 100.00 feet; thence'south 20 000' west 100.00 feet; thence
south 14 °26130" E 97.04 feet; thence south 16 °54'51" W 59.00 feet, more or
less, to intersect a line running north 89 °56'W from the point of beginning;
thence,south 89 °56' E 300.00 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning;
EXCEPT therefrom a strip of land 10.00 feet wide east of and abutting upon
the west line of said premises,
was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Edmonds for the vacation of the above
described property, who has returned a certification of sufficiency, and
WHEREAS, the law requires a hearing on such petition and that the date
of such hearing be fixed by Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Edmonds, that Tuesday, the 5th day of November, 1974, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at
the Edmonds Civic Center, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place
for the hearing and determination by the City Council of said Petition.
