Resolution 277RESOLUTION NO. 277 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, EXPRESSING AN INTEREST IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A UNIFIED METHOD OF ANIMAL CONTROL AND FACILITIES FOR THE SOUTH SNOHOMISH COUNTY METROPOLITAN AREAS. WHEREAS, there is presently no facility available in the greater South Snohomish County metropolitan areas for animal control facilities, and WHEREAS, each city in the South Snohomish County metropolitan area is presently having to provide or make provision for animal control facilities, and WHEREAS, it is believed that a common facility and a unified method of animal control for all cities in the South Snohomish County area would lend itself to a more humane and efficient operation of the various cities' animal control functions, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' EDMONDS,WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: That the City of Edmonds hereby expresses its interest in the establishment of a unified method of animal control and a common animal control facility for the common benefit of the cities in the South Snohomish County area. \ APPROVED: Mayor Pro Tem ATTEST: City Clerk FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK: April 17, 1973 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL: April 17, 1973
