RESOLUTION NO. 288
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DIRECTING TRANSMITTAL
r ( OF CITY OF EDMONDS SHORELINES MANAGEMENT
DRAFT MASTER PROGRAM NOVEMBER 1, 1973 AND
SHORELINE INVENTORY TO THE STATE OF WASHINGTON
DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY.
WHEREAS, a Shorelines Management Citizens Advisory
Committee consisting of citizens of the City of Edmonds, Wash-
ington, was appointed to study, inventory and recommend a
draft of a master program for shorelines management and
inventory the shorelines of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
and,
WHEREAS, said committee, in conjunction with the members
of the city staff, have formulated and proposed a draft of a
master program for shorelines management and shoreline inventory,
and,.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, duly held, pursuant to notice, a meeting on the
14th day of November, 1973, and recommended adoption of City of
Edmonds Shorelines Management Draft Master Program, November 1,
1973, and.the accompanying Shoreline Inventory and recommended
that said documents be transmitted to the City Council for
review and transmittal to the Washington State Department of
Ecology, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, having
held a public hearing.on December 4, 1973, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:

That the City of Edmonds Shorelines Management Draft
Master Program, November 1, 1973 and accompanying Shoreline
Inventory should forthwith be transmitted to the Washington
State Department of Ecology for review by said state agency
pursuant to Chapter 286, Laws of the State of Washington
1971, First Extraordinary Session.
