of the City of Edmonds,
a Municipal Corporation.
A Resolution of the City Conncil of the City of Edmonds authorizing and
directing that certain street located between Dayton and Main Streets in
the City of Edmonds and known as six and one-half street be re -named.
WHEREAS George Q. Durbin has been a longtime resident of the City
of Edmonds,
AND WHEREAS said George Q. Durbin served honorably and well as
Mayor of the City of Edmonds for several terms,
AND WHEREAS said George Q. Durbin devoted the best years of his
life to the furtherance of the business and civic interests of the City
of Edmonds,
AND VuIIEREAS such a person as George Q. Durbin should be honored
and his name perpetuated,

NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS:
That the said street frist above named as six and one—half
street between Main Street and Dayton Street in the City of Edmonds, be
and hereby is re —named as DURBIN DRIVE, in horor of the said George
Q. Durbin.
