Resolution 005RESOLUTION NO. 5 of the City of Edmonds, a Municipal Corporation. A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Edmonds prohibiting the parking of vehicles on certain streets of the City of Edmonds, as hereinafter named and as defined in Ordinance No. 5893 amended in Ordinance No. 592, as the Commercial Zone, between the hours of 2;00 A. 1.. and 5:00 A. M., and providing a penalty for violation thereof. V�HEREAS the Street Department of the City of Edmonds must clean up the City Streets within the Commer&ial Zone, and WIFE EAS it is for the General 75elfare, Peace and safety of all the inhabitants of the City of Edmonds that the said streets be cleaned and crept regularly, and AREAS it is necessary -that the streets be cleared of all vehicles during the time of such sweeping and cleaning, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMOI DS: Section 1. That from and after the date of this resolution, it shall be nnlawful for any person to pz.rk or leave any vehicle on the following described streets between the hours of 2:00 A. M. and 5:00 A. N,.: (a) On sixth (6th) Avenue from Bell Street to a point One Hundred and Twenty feet (1201) South of Dayton Street. (b) On fifth (5th) Avenue from Bell Street to Howell VJay. (c) On Fourth (4th) Avenue from Bell Street to a point One Hundred and Twenty (120) feet South of Dayton Street. �d) On Third Ord) Avenue from Bell Street to a point One Hundred and Ten (1101) South of Dayton Street. (e) On Second (2nd) Avenue from Bell Street to the South City Limits. (f ) On Pain Street from Sixth Avenue to the Vilest City Limits. (g) On Dayton Street from Sixth Avenue to the Vest City limits. Provided, however, that the provisions of this resolution do not apply to the above streets where the hard —surfaced paving does not extend to the curbs and gutters. Section 2. That any person or persons failing to comply with the regulations of this resolution or violating any of the terms of such shall be guilty of misdemaeanor and upon conviction of such shall be punished by a fine not toexceed $10.00.
