Resolution 036RESOLUTION N0. 36 (Z.I.D. 30)
A Resolution declaring the intention of the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, to improve the following described Alleys
and Streets ir. said Oity, to -wit:
Alley through Block "H" from Fourth Street to Sixth Street-;
also Fourth Street from Edmonds Street to Alley in Block "H",
by eonstructirg a lateral sewer system in and upon said Alleys
and Streets within the City of Edmonds, Snohomish Oounty, Washing-
- ton, also by corstructing the necessary inlets, catch basins, man-
holes, lamp holes, and by doing such other work as may be neces-
sary in connection therewith.
BE I RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
State of Washingtor, to improve the following described Streets
and Alleys,towit:
Alley through Block "H" from Fourth Street to Sixth Street;
also Fourth Street from Edmonds Street to Alley in Block"H" in
said City in the following manner:
By constructing a lateral sewer system in and upon said
Streets and Alleys within the said City,- also by oorstructing
the necessary inlets, catch -basins, man -holes, lamp -holes-, and
by doing such other work as may be necessary in-oonnectfon-there-
with. _
SECOND: That the payment for the improvement herein mentioned
shall be made in whole by special assessment; a Local Improvement
District shall be established embracing as nearly as pos-sible all
of the property specially benefited by such improvement and such
property shall be assessed to cover the cost of such improvement.
THIRD: All persons Who may Irish to enter protests against
the improvement mentioned in this Resolution are hereby notified
to appear ir: the Council Chambers in the City Hall it the City of
Edmonds, at a meeting of the Council to be held on the Third day
of January 1922 at the hour of eight P.H. of said day, then and
there to -present their objections thereto, if any they ha-ve.
FOMTH: The City Engineer of said City of Ecbnordp, is .hereby
directed to submit to the Council, at or prior to said third,_day
of January, 1922, a statement of the estimated cost and expense
of the improvement above mentioned, and a statement --of the pro-
portionate amount thereof which shall be borne by the property

v,ithir the proposed district, ar_d a statement of the aggregate �
value of the real estate, exclusive of improvements, within said
proposed district, accordirg to the valuation last placed upon
it for general ta.xatior, together with a diagram or print show-
ing thereon the tracts, lots and parcels of land and other -pro-
perty which vfi11 be especially benefited thereby, and 'the -esti-
mated amount of the costs and expense of such impr ov emert to be
borne by each lot, tract or parcel of lard or other property.
Passed by the Council this Sixth day of December, 1921, and
approved by me the dame date.
