A Resolution declaring the Intention of the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, State of Washington, to improve Sixth (6th)
Street, in said City from the Borth property line of Walnut Street
to the forth line of High School -Tract, by clearirg, grubbing,
gradirg, constructing five-foot concrete sidewalks, or the West
side of said Sixth Street, and doing such other work as may be
necessary it co=ectior therewith.
Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Edmonds;
1. That it is the irtertior of the City Council of the City
of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, to improve Sixth (6th)
Street in Said City from the North property lire of Walrut Street
to the North lire of High School Tract, by corstructi rg five-foot
concrete sidewalks, and concrete arose walks, along the West side
of said Sixth (6th) Street, and by doing such clearin , grubbirg,
grading, and other work as may be necessary in connection there-
with.
2. That the payment for the improvement in this Resolution
mertioned shall be made in whole by special assessments; a Local
Improvement District shall be established, embracing as near as
may be, all the propetty specially benefited by such improvement,
and such specially benefited property shall be assessed to pay
for the cost of said improvemert .
3. AL11 persons who may desire to object to the improvement
herein mertioned are hereby notified toappear at the Council
Chambers it the City Hall, in the City of Edmords, Washington,
at a meeting of the said City Council, or the Seventh day of
rovember, 1922, at eight P.M. of said day, then and there to pre-
sert their objections thereto, if any they have.
4. The City Engineer and Street Committee of said City of
Edmonds are hereby directed to submit to the City Council at or
prior to said Seventh day of Iovember, 1922, the estimated cost
and exper.,se of the improvement in this Resolution mentioned, and
a statement of the proportiorate amount thereof which shall be
borne by the property within the proposed improvement district,
and a statement of the aggregate assessed valuation of the real
estate, exclusive of improvemerts, within said proposed improve-
mert district according to the valuation last placed upon it for
general taxation, together with a diagram or print showing there -
or the lots, tracts and parcels of lard and other property which
will be specially berefited thereby and the estimated amount of
the cost and expense of such improvement, to be borne by each
lot, tract or parcel of lard or other improvement.

and approved by me the same date.
