A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EDMONDS to improve Front Street, it said City, from
Edmonds Street northerly a distarce of 1071 feet more or less
to a cor_ rectior with the north trunk sewer by the corstructior
of a combired 811-1011ir_ch lateral and saritary sewer and the
corstructior of concrete curbs and gutters, together with the
necessary drairage marholes, catch basins ,:rd other appurter_ar-
ces-recessary to make a complete improvemert, creatirg ar- assess-
mert District; creatirg a Local Improvemtr_ District Furd therefor;
pr.ovidirg that the pa.ymert for said improvemert be made by special
assessmert or the property ir said District udder the mode of
paymert by bords for materials used, fixed estimate, and all
other experses except cost of 1Gbor furnished by Pederal funds
under the VIPA plar of the Federal Goverrmert.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTiJA CIL OF THE CITY OF ELMOT DS :
1. That it is the irter._tior of the City Council of the
City of Edmonds, State of E'Iashirgtor, to improve Prort Street,
ir_ said city, from Edmonds Street northerly a distarce of 1071
feet more or less to a correction with the rorth trunk sewer,
by the corstructior, of a combired 811=1011irch lateral and sarita.ry
sevrer and the corstructior of corcrete curbs ar_d gutters, togeth-
er with the r..ecessary drair_age, marholed, c&tch basirs and other
appurterarces necessary to make a complete improvement.
2. That the cost ar_d expense of all material required to
make a complete improvemert, the fixed estimate Grd all other
experses of every kird, except cost of labor car_tributed by the
Federal Goverrmert urder NPA, shall be made by special assessmert;
a Local Improvemert district shall be established embracir_ g as
rear as may be all the property specially berefitted bysuch im-
provemert, and such specially berefitted property shall be assessed
to pay for the ertire . cost of such improvemert, except the cost
of labor furnished by the Federal Goverrmert urder WPA.
3. All persor_s who may desire to object to the improve-
mert herein. mertiored are hereby rotified to appear at the council
Chambers it the City Hall in the City of Edmonds, :Gshirgtor_, at
a meetirg of'the said Council or the 17th day of October, 19399
at the hour of eight o'clock P. .d. , . of said day, then_ and there
to preser_t their objections thereto if ary they have.
4. The City Ergireer of said City of Edinor_ds is hereby
directed to submit to the city Cour_cil, at or prior to said 17th
day of October, 19: 9, the estimated cost ar.d experse of the im-
provemert, it this Resolatior mertiored, and a statemer_t of the
rroportion=,te amour_t thereof which shall be borre by the proper-
tj withir the proposed Improvemert District; and a sta.temer_t of
the aggregate assessed valuation of the real estate, exclusive of
improvements, vithir said proposed Improvement District according
to the valuatior last placed upon. it for gereral taxatior, to-
gcther .vith a diagram or print shLowirg thereor the lots, tr&ct
or parcels of lard ai-6- other ypro-:,ar ty ill be specially
berefitted thereby, and the esti!na.ted-.mourt of the cost and ex-
perse of such improvement to be borre by each lot trL_ct, parcel
of lard, or other property.
Passed by the City Council of the City of LLmo7_ds this 19th
day of September, 1939, ar_d approved the same date.
