Ordinance 0002OEDI KLJOE NO. 2 . An ordinance to prevent the keeping or maintaining within the corporate limits of the town of Edmonds, of any boarding house, house of illfame or any place for the practice of prostitution or lewdness. Be it ordained by the council of the town of Edmonds. SECTION( 1: Whosoever shill keep or maintain within the corpor- ate limits of the town of Edmonds any boarding house, house of ill-�3,q wvy fame or any place for the practice of prostitution, or lewdness, or , H o u,�, shall knowingly permit any building or place owned by him or her, or under his or her control, to be used for that purpose shall, upon con- viction thereof be fined not less than twenty dollars nor more than one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days or by both such fine or imprisonment. SECTION 2: Whoever shall be an inmate of any bawdy house, house of illfame or of any place for the practice of pratitution, or leQad-�E� ness, or shall in any way contribute to the support thereof or be connected therewith, or whoever shall be found therein, shall for each L_r offense be fined not less than five or more than fifty dollars.
