An Ordinance to assess and levy taxes for general and special
Municipal purposes for the year 189 .
Be it ordained by the Council `37 the Town of Edmonds.
r-- SECTION 1: The taxes for special and general Municipal pur-
poses for the year A.D. 1891 be, and the same are hereby assess-
ed and levied upon all property, real, personal and mixed subject
to taxation by the Town of Edmonds for the purposes specified in
this Ordinance at the following rates or ratio, namely: For
general Municipal purposes at the rate of three mills on each and
every dollar of the assessed valuation of all property within the
Town of Edmonds.
SECTION 2: That the road Poll Tax far the year 1897 be and
the same is hereby assessed and levied at the sum of two dollars
on each and every male inhabitant of the Town of Edmonds between
the ages of twenty-one and fifty years.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
f' n�force from and after its passage and approval.

eighth day of September 1891.
