An ordinance fixing the pay and compensation of the officers

and employes of the Town of Edmonds for the year 1895.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Edmonds:
SECTION 1: That the pay and compensation of the respective
officers of the Town of Edmonds shall be as follows:
1 The Town Clerk shall receive a salary of eight dollars per
month payable monthly.
2. The Town Marshal shall receive as compensation for his
services one-half of all dog tax collected by said Marshal, also
gone -half of all licenses collected from any exhibitions, shows and
,L`�' other performances licensed by said Town of Edmonds; also such
fees as the Council shall allow from time to time to said Marshal
for his services as acting Street Commissioner of said Torn. He
shall also receive for his services while acting as Constable or
performing the duties of Constable, such fees as are, by law allow-
ed to Constables.
3. The Town Treasurer shall receive such fees as are allowed
�T by law.
4. The Attorney shall receive fifteen dollars for each attend-
ance upon the meetings of the Council, provided that he shall attend
C such meetings only upon request of the Council.
SECTION 2: All Ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this Ordinance are hereby repealed. C.T.Roscoe, Mayor.
