An Ordinance making it a misdemeanor for any person to leave
the Pest house or any place or residence that may be under (�uaran-
tine for Smallpox or ary contagious disease without proper author-
it,T from Health Officer.
SECTI(Z 1: It is ordained by the Council of the Tovwr_. of Ed-
mords, that any person who shall be quarantined it the Pest house
or ary place or residence on accourt of Smallpox or any other con-
tagious disease that comes order the Quarantine regulations of the
State Board of Health, and shall leave the same without permission
of the Health Officer, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
SECTION 2: Any person violating any of the provisions of
! ctior 1 of this Ordinance shall be fired not more than fifty
Sd llars or less than ten dollars, and remair in the City jail until
such fire is paid.
