An Ordirarce prescribing the license fee for moving picture "
shows exhibiting within the limits of the City of Edmonds, and pre- ;
scribirg a penalty for a violation_ for such exhibitions without
paying the license fee prescribed herein.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Edmonds:
SECTIOI 1: I:o Person, firm or corporation shall exhibit ary
moving picture show within the limits of the City of Edmonds, with
out first obtaining a license therefor from the City Clerk of said
City, as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2: Every person, firm or corporation desiring to ex- f-
hibit any moving picture show within the City,rof Edmonds, shall pay( I"0--
to the City Clerk of the City of Edmords the sum of Thirty ($30.00)
Dollars for each year, semi-arrually from and after the date of
such license, and obtain a written license therefor.
SECTIOL 3: Any such person violating the terms of this Ordi_
r_arce shall be fined in any sum not exceeding Twenty-five ($25.00 ) f0l- y
Dollars, or be imprisoned in the City jail for a term not exceeding
fifteen (15) days, or by both such fire and imprisonment.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its approval and publication, and all Ordinances and
parts of Ordinances in conflict or inconsistent herewith, are here-
by repealed.
