Am Ordirance declaring that the City of Edmonds is susceptable
of a single mode of drainage through sewers, and adoptirg plans,
specifications and locations of a main_ trunk sewer in said City, and
estimating the cost thereof.
The City Council of the City of Edmords do ordain as follows:
SECTIOL 1: It is hereby declared that the City of Edmords is
susceptible of a sir_gle mode of drairage through a main trunk sewer,
hereinafter provided for and that the same will furnish an outlet
for all lateral and sub -sewers which may - ereafter be established
within the limits of said City of Edmords.
SECTIOL 2: That the location of said mair- trurk sewer shall
be as follows: Begirrirg at a poir:t where the creek crosses the
thirty foot roadway now used as an extension of Sixth Street in
said City, and being situate within the limits of said City it the
Lorthwest Quarter of the Eorthwest Quarter of Sectior twenty-five,
Township Twerty-sever l orth, Range three East W.I. ; therce Lorth
on said roadway to Walnut Street; thence ,lest or Walnut Street to
Sixth Street; therce forth on Sixth Street to Dayton Street; therce
West on Dayton Street to Third Street; thence by the most practical
route to the intersection of George and Front Streetsf thence Wei
on George Street to the waters of Puget Sourd. Uso a ararch ex-
terdirg from Front Street Last to Second Street.

SECTIOL 3: That said main trunk sever shall be constructed
of concrete and graduated in size sufficient to carry the sewerage
of said City and ace�rding .to the specific, plans and specifications
made by the City Engineer and now on file in the office of said
City Clerk and City Lirgireer, which are hereby adopted as a whole
and made the plans aid specifications j ereof as a part of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That the estimated cost of said main trunk sewer
is the sum of Sever_�teen Thousand (017,000.00) Dollars.
SECTIOI, 5: This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the ;&ayor.
