An Ordinance providing for the changing of the name of George
Street in the City of Edmonds, Washington, to Main Street.
The City Council of the City of Edmonds do ordain as follows:

SECTIOZr 1: That the name of George Street, in said City, be,
and the same is, hereby altered and charged to Blain Street, and
said Street, in all official and legal proceedings, maps and plats
on which the same is known, shall hereafter be called, marked and V
designated as Blain Street. Provided, that this Ordinance shall
in no wise invalidate, or in any way affect, descriptions of pro-
perty abutting thereon, or otherwise described by the name of
George Street, or invalidate any map or plat heretofore made de-
signating said Street as George Street, but all said plats, maps,
descriptions, and official designations shall be valid and binding
the same as if this change had not been made.
SECTIOP 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
by virtue of its passage by the Council,its approval by the Mayor
and its publication in accordance with law.
Passed the Council and approved by me this 13th day of Decem-
ber 1911.
