Ordinance 0257x ORDIJAI;CE 1-0. 257. pAb 1 / An Ordinance providing for the reassessment of all property in cal Improvement District N0.15 of the City of Edmonds, as estab- N lished by Ordinance No.214 of said City and of all property within the City of Edmonds specially benefited thereby; and directing the preparation of an assessment roll therefor. The City Council of the City of Edmonds do ordain as follows: Vthe SECTION 1: Whereas, in pursuance with Ordinance ro.214 of e City of Edmonds, Washingtor, Third Street from North line of the Southwest quarter (SW,,�-) of the Southeast Quarter (SFr,} pf SEA of Section 23, Township 27 r orth Range 3 East W.M., South to the City limits, and from the T,,orth side of George Street North to the City limits of said City, has been improved by grading, cleaning and by construction of sidewalks, curbs and gutters thereon between the points named, and whereas the assessments heretofore levied upon property in Local Improvement Distriot ro.15 have been inade- quate to meet the cost and expemse thereof. tV'Vk�SECTIOI: 2: Now, therefore, it is ordered that the property rwithin Local Improvement District Lo.15 as created under Ordinar ce 0.214 of the City of Edmonds, and all other property within said C ityy Which has been specially benefited, be reassessed. 41 SECTIOE, 3: That an assessment roll be prepared as by the laws of the State of Washington provided, which roll shall in - elude any property specially benefited by such improvement whether or not the same was included in the original assessment district. SECTIOU 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force by virtue of its passage, approval and publication as pro- vided by law.
