An Ordinance fixing
the City of Edmonds.)
The City Council of
ORDINAL CE 19 0.267.
the compensation of certain officials of
the City of Edmonds do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Clerk shall receive as compensation for
performing the duties of his office the sum of One Hundred Eighty
(6180.00) Dollars annually, and no more, payable in monthly in-
sallments of $15.00 each.
SECTION 2: The City Treasurer shall receive as compensation
for performing the duties of his office the sum of One Hundred
Twenty Dollars annually, and no more, payable in monthly install-
, ments of $10.00 each.
SECTION 3: The City Attorney shall receive as compensation
or performing the duties of his office the sum of Three Hundred
Dollars annually, and no more, payable in monthly installments
of $25.00 each.
SECTIOY: 4: Thel, City Marshal shall receive as compensation
Or performing the duties of his office the sum 'of Sixty Dollars
annually, payable in monthly installments of $5.00 each, and in
V` addition thereto for service of any process he shall receive the
same fees as fixed by law for constables, and also in addition
thereto such allowances as the Gouneil may allow for labor actually
performed.
' SECTION 5: The City Engineer shall receive as compensation
for the performance of the duties incident to his office such
sums as the Council may from time to time allow.
SECTIOL 6: The Health Officer shall receive as compensation
for the performance of the duties of his office such sum as fixed
.by law, and such additional sums as may be allowed by the Gity
Council in cases of emergency.
` SECTIOI 7: The Police Justice shall receive as compensation
such fees as are fixed by law to be paid ,justices of the peace,
and no more.
SECTION 8: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances it con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTIOF 9: This Ordiranc a shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the first day of January 1914.
