An Ordinance repealing Section 8 of Ordinance l o.167, entitled
"An Ordinance granting unto the Edmonds Electric Light and power
Company, a corporation, duly organized and existing under and by
virtue of the laws of the State of Washington, its successors and
assigns, the right, privelege and franchise to erect and maintain v-,"G.
electric and power works within the limits of the Torn of Edmonds,
Washington, and for furnishing electric current to<the citizens of
said'Town, by works erected within or without the corporate limits
of said Town_, and authorizing said corporation, its successors er d
assigns, to erect pole and wire lines upon streets, alleys, public
grounds and thoroughfares of said Town, and to maintain and operate
the same for furnishing said Town and its inhabitants with electric
lights and electric power, and to sell such lights and electric
power to said Town and its inhabitants".

SECTIO1 1: That Section 8 of Ordinance Fo.167 , entitled, "Am
Ordinance granting unto the Edmonds Electric Light and Power Com-
pany, a corporation, duly created, organized and existing under

SECTIOr, 2: This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after
its passage, approval, and its publication in accordance with law.
Passed the Council, and is approved by me this first day of
July 1914.
