Ordinance 0276ORDIVAN CE h 0 • 27 6 . An Ordinance fi-King the,compensation of certain officials of the City,, of Edmonds. The City Cour: it of the City of Edmonds do ordain as follows: SECTION 1: The City (`lerk shall receive as compensation for performing the duties of his office the sum of $150.00 annually and no more, -payable in monthly installments of $12.50 each. SECTION 2: The City Treasurer shall receive as compensation for performing the duties of his office the sum of $150.00 an-nually and no more, payable in monthly installments of $12.50 each. SECTION 3: The City Attorney shall receive as compensation for performing the duties of his office the sum of $240.00 an- nually and no more, payable in monthly installments of $20.00 _ each. SEClIOI-: 4: The City Marshal shall receive as compensation or performing the duties of his office the sum of $60.00 annually, go payable in monthly installments of $5.00 each, and in addition 4y�G� thereto for services of any process he shall receive the same fees as fixed by law for constables, and also in addition thereto such. allowances as the Council may allow for labor actually per- formed when such work is authorized by the Council. SECTION 5: The City Engineer shall receive as compensation for performing the duties i.ncidert to his office such sums as the Council may from time to time alloy for work actually performed when such work is authorized by the Council. SECTION 6: The City Health Officer shall receive as compensa- /, �tion for performing the duties of his office the sum of $72.00 an- nually and such additional sums as may be al lowed by the Council in cases of emergency. SECTIOT, 7: The police Justice shall receive such fees as are fixed by law to be paid justices of the peace and no more. SECTION 10: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
