An Ordinance calling a special election for the purpose of
authorizing the incurring of indebtedness for the purchase of ap-
paratus for the prevention and extinguishment of fires.
The City Council of the City of Edmords do ordain as follows:
1-That it is deemed advisable that a special election for the
purpose of authorizing the incurring of indebtedness for the pur-
chase of apparatus for the prevention and extinguishment of fires,
be held.
2• That the ballots submitted to the voters at such election
shall contain the following question, towit; MWUA
Shall the City of Edmonds, for the purpose of purchasing a
motor fire truck and attached motor driver pumping equipment, incur
an indebtedness of $3700.00?
Indebtedness, Yes Indebtedness, L o.
The elector shall prepare his ballot by striking therefrom
the words "Irdebtedress,Yes",or "Indebtedness,Eo", so that the re-
mairing portion of said ballot shall express his vote on said
question.
3. That said special election shall be held on the 7th day of �Gt-;f�
March, 1925, and the polls shall be opened and the election held in
corformity with general election laws. /
4. That the City Clerk shall give fifteen days notice of said �2 u
election by .publication thereof in each issue of the official news-
paper of said City published during said fifteen days and by posting
notice in each election precinct of said City.
Passed by the City Council on the 17th day of February and ap-
proved by me or the same date.
