Ar Ordinance declaring it unlawful for dogs to run at large
and providing for the im oundzn and disposal of same.

The City Council of the City if Edmonds do ordain as' follows.
1.That it is unlawful for dogs to run at large in the City of
Edmonds.

eThat it is the duty of the City police to take up all
ogs runnir_g at large and impound same in such suitable place as
may be provided by the City of Edmonds.
3. All dogs so taken up shall be impounded for a period of
forty-eight hours, during which time, the owner may recover same
C�by the payment of the sum of $1.00 to said City police and the
actual and reeessary expense incurred in impounding and careir.,g
for said animal.
4. The amount~ collected under the preceding Section shall
e paid over to the city Treasurer for credit to the current ex-
perse fund.
5. All dogs n_t claimed at the expiration of the forty-eight
our period mentioned above shall be killed and disposed of by the
,G City police.
6. The City police shall be allowed and paid the sum of $1.00
for each dog killed and disposedot by him as provided for under
the preceding Section.
