I} if An Ordinance providirg for the licensing of pool halls, and for
billiard rooms and card rooms, providing the penalty for the viola-
tion of any of the --Arovisiors of this Ordinance and repealing Ordi-
nance lo.11 of the 04ty of Edmonds.
Be it ordained r the City Council of the City of Edmonds as
follows:
SECTIOS: 1: 1__at no persons, firm, corporation or other asso-
( y'ciatior of persons shall own, keep, operate or manage within the
City of Edmonds any pool hall, billiard room or card room without
first obtaining a license as provided ir. this Ordinance.
SECTIOF 2: The license to be charged by said City for ownir_Lg,
keeping, operating c�� managing any public pool hall, billiard room
or card roam shall be and the same is hereby fixed at the sum of
� ,50.00 per year.

SECTIOr 3: Any person, firm, corporation, or other associa- ��
tior of persons desiring a license to carry on any of the business
mentioned in this Ordinance shall make a written application there-
for to the City Council of the City of Edmonds, statiLg the name
of the applicant, his address, whether a corporation, firm or
other association of persons, the name and address of each member
thereof, together with a statement of the business to be carried
on and the addresses of such person or persons for six months
preceding such application.
SECTION 4: That any person, firm, corporation or other asso-
eiation of persons violating any of the provisions of this Ordi-
Lance shall,upon conviction, be punished by imprisonment not to
exceed thirty (30) days, or by a fire of rot to exceed $100.00,
or by both such fine and imprisonment.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and ,I
effect five days after its publication according to law. 4 64-4-ur
