barks or whires in such a manner as to disturb the peace and quiet

sons or other arimals, and providing the penalty for the 'viola-
tion thereof.

/, SECTIOI, 1: It shall be unlawful for any person in the City
of Edmonds to keep, maintain or harbor withir said City any doeL-,�r'
which habitually howls, barks or whines in such a manner as to�
disturb the peace and quiet of persons it the neighborhood or
which runs after and chases persons or animals.

!v SECTIOIC 2: Every day that such dog is kept, mairtair-ed
cr harbored shall be deemed a separate violation of this Ordi-
nance.
f%/SECTIO F 3: At yore cor:victed of the violation of this Ordi-
rarce sha11 be pu- .shed by a fire of rot to exceed Ore Hundred
(100.00) Dollars. or by imprisormert it the City jail for a
period of not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine
and imprisormert.
SECTIOI 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect five (5) days after its publication, as provided
