An Ordinance approving and confirmirg the assessment and as-
6986mett roll of Local Improvement District r o.40 for the im
provemert of Mein Street from the East line of the Great ]northern
right-of-way to the center lire of Third Street by the laying of
a Portlard Qemert concrete pavement from curb to curb, and doing
all other work necessary in correction therewith to make a com-
plete improvement under Ordinarce lo.388 of the City of Edmonds,
levying ar assessment on account thereof agairst the several
lots, tracts and parcels of lard as shown or said roll, provid-
ing for the issuarce of Bords therefor and fixing the date of the
issuance thereof.

SECTIO14 1: That the assessment erd assessment roll of Local
Improvement District L o.40, for the improvement of Main Street,
from the East lire of the Great Lorthern right-of-way to the center
lire of Third Street by the layirig of a Portlard Cement concrete
pavement from curb to curb, ar.d doing all other- work recessary
it correction therewith to make a complete improvement ur_der
Ordirarce r?o.388 of the City of Edmords as the same now stands,

SECTIOE 2: That each of the lots, tracts ar_d parcels of
lard or other property shoveror said roll is hereby declared to
be specially berefited by said improvement it at least the a-
mount charged agairst the same a.rd that the assessmert appear-
irg agcirst the sc:me is it proportior to the several assessments
appearing upor said roll and there is hereby levied an assess-
mert against each lot, tract and parcel of lard and other pro-
perty appearirg upor said roll the amourt finally charged against
the same thereon.
SECTIOI 3: That the Terth day of l ovember, 1927, is hereby
fixed as the date of the issuance of the Bord.s required to be
issued or accourt of said improvement.
SECTI Og 4: The City of Edmonds may sell said Bords azd
make paymert it cash lr the marrer provided by the Ordinances of
said City.
