T E R ,�, City r he it of Edmonds do T.O�� TrI�Er Ot��, the .,�.ty Council of t City ordain as follows: SECTIOL 1: That said cost for maintaining the2olice Depart- � meet for the remainder of the current year is hereby estimated at $175.00, and maintenance of the Sewer Department to date at 125.00. SECTION: 2: That a public emergency exists which could not easor_ably have been foreseen at the time of making the last an- rual budget which shall require the expenditure of the above a- mounts of money note, provided for in the last preceding budget for additional maintenance for the Police Department and Sewer Department. SECTION: 3: That emergency Warrants will be issued in suf- ficient amounts for the payment of cost's of such additional 213 maintenance for the Police Department and the Severer Department or the Current Experse fund of said City rot otherwise appropre- iated and not included in the last annual budget, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay such Warrants out of such fund, and if there is not sufficient money on hand above that appropriated in the last annual budget, to pay such additional emergency Warrants, such Warrants shall be registered, bear irterest and be called in the same manner as other City Warrants.
